Many young boys grew up feeling....
Overpowered.
Bullied.
Disrespected.
Talked down to.
Invalidated.
Abandoned.
by masculine energy in their environment.
This has caused many good men to either show up in dominant, aggressive ways as learned, or subconsciously resent their own masculinity in favor of more receptive feminine energies that feel less forceful, aggressive, or damaging.
In both cases, his relationship to his masculine and feminine is a wounded one, born from shame and the need to keep himself safe.
This will subconsciously impact how he relates in intimacy and to his own sense of leadership in partnership.
He may unconsciously resent the feminine for her sensitivity, due to not being validated for his own emotional needs, and he may shy away from communicating authentically.
He may feel constricted, overpowered, or controlled in relationship with the feminine, feeling unable to shift the dynamics to one of balance and sovereignty.
He may avoid or shut down during conflict, unsure how to effectively work through it.
He may downplay his leadership in favor of being accommodating and maintaining the harmony.
He may shy away from expressing his primal energies (anger, jealousy, domination, passion) for fear they will be destructive, as he may have witnessed them as such growing up.
His primal energies can actually be used to bring great life and passion into the relationship when channelled appropriately.
Rewiring his relationship to his masculine unlocks his conscious leadership.
Healing his relationship to his father and mother (the first figure in his life that left imprints of emasculation) and rewiring his own embodiment of healthy masculine energy is the key to his empowerment & success in love & life.
So can be more authentic and in integrity despite how others are responding.
So he can lead from a more grounded and focused place.
So he can express his primal desires to build passion, rather than cause destruction.
Rewiring his relationship to his conscious feminine unlocks his magnetism as a leader, lover, and human being.
Rewiring his relationship to his own feminine is the key to rewiring his relationship with women in general.
He can understand her emotions because he is in touch with his own.
He can navigate conflict more skillfully because he is more attuned and sensitive to the subtlety of energy and language.
He is a more balanced lover because he has merged his primal with his heart.
